Default Some questions Servers,GvG

I've got the game ordered (friday will be my first test, well if my beta code gets to me), ive played plenty of online games MMORPG,FPS since times gone past and....
--wtf free online (as all online games should be, hats off)
--tons of PvP(or GvG) and a simple supurb looking combat system
--good eye candy
I cant lose !!!!

Just wondering about servers and GvG...i know that most of these questions probably cant be answerd but i can hope...

Ok so the whole world is run on one server, screems mondo lagging at me ! just how much(many players) can one server hold before mondo meltdown ?
I mean if say there is 10,000 models running around in town im going to need a better video card, arnt i ?

Is there more than one server to choose from such as a U.S or Europe...?
As im from the UK and generaly in any competive game playing with a ping above >100 (US) is normaly pointless cos of the time delay and lag difference.

Has anyone got experience of Euro Vs US, and how did it go ?
Could you time your attack correctly and hit the important parts of you combat tactics ?

What worries me is say i have a party and the thers a US tank and a euro healer(see where im going with this) one moment the tank needs a heal bad you got time cos that player just hit him you start to cast Oh and your poor old tank is dead.. cos you 5 seconds behiend him and his attacker in game time... and you now attempt to heal a corpse.. lol

Guild V Guild fights... is there a certain number of players involved ?
such as 6 vs 6 or an allocated amount decided by both Guild leaders.. say you have 2 guilds and they can field up to 18 players each, so 18 vs 18.. mondo moshing!!!

To answer one of your questions, there are different servers in areas so all of you ar not in the same town at once. I think they gave them the nmae districts, and you can choose what district your in. Lets say your in district 1, but your friend is in district 2. You can just change your district to 2 so you can be with your friend.

I don't know about international servers and such.

Hope thats of some help.

hundreds of linked servers.

no lag trust me

districts open as more people come online and you can switch at will to meet with people

maximum of 8 per guild at the moment in combat guild can have up to 100 members

phone call got to go

as mentioned, there isnt just 1 network server machine. they are all linked. the game operates on instances and districts, which never allow more than 100 people per district.

you are automatically connected to the closest network server machine. however, there are "worlds" that you play for that are related to your country/region/language where you get bonuses if players from your "world" are doing well in the tournament.

there are plenty of competitive guilds that have players in the US and Europe playing at the same time. The Fianna are one example tat comes to mind.

if you are lagging 5 seconds behind the others, there is definitely something wrong.

GvG is currently 8v8 only. there are some PvP maps in tombs that are 8v8v8v8. this is as of the march bwe.
